Q: What types of removals do you do?

A: Secure Move Removals specialise in all types of domestic and commercial removals, from studio flats to large four bedroom houses, businesses and offices.  We can help with moves of all sizes and distances. We have and own a fleet of different vehicles , allowing us to tailor bespoke removal package to fit your requirements

Q: Are you insured?

A: Yes, Secure Move is covered by £5m public liability insurance and all our removals have goods in transit insurance

Q: Will I have to pay a deposit?

A: On larger moves you will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit prior to the move, smaller jobs may be paid for on the day

Q: What areas do you cover?

Q: Do you have storage facilities?

A: Yes, we have storage facilities in Newcastle upon Tyne available for all your storage needs.  Domestic, commercial, student, get in touch to discuss your requirments

Q: What happens if I dont get my keys on time?

A: Generally when moving in and out of a house you would expect to be able to drop off and pick your keys from 12pm on the day of your move. If this doesn’t happen and you don’t get your keys on time there may be additional costs

Q: What types of payment do you accept?

A: We accept most forms of payment, including cash, credit and debit cards including; MasterCard, Solo, Visa, Switch and Maestro, also PayPal. Deposits may be required, ask for details

Q: Can I do my own packing?

A: Yes, we are more than happy for you to pack yourself and ultimately it will make things cheaper for you but if you are stuck for time we can come and pack everything for you, this will be an additional cost

Q: Do you provide packing materials?

A: Yes, here at Secure Move we can provide all packing materials necessary to make your move as smooth as possible, wrapping materials, boxes, tape we have it all

Q: What size van will i get?

A: Once we have surveyed the amount of goods being moved we will formulate a plan and assign the right size vehicles for that bespoke job

Q: Can I move on weekends?

A:  Yes, weekends are a normal working day for the team here at Secure Move Removals

Q: How much notice do you require?

A:  The size of the job  will determine the notice required. If you just want a one-off item moved or small room moved into storage, 24 hours will be quite sufficient but a large move like a full house will need a lot more planning and preparation time. The more notice you can give the better it will be

Q: Do you dismantle furniture?

A: We can dismantle and assemble furniture but this will come as an extra cost to yourself, the more you can do yourself the cheaper the move will be, however we are fully prepared to dismantle and also assemble in your new home if that’s what you require

Q: Can I book online?

A: No, we need to discuss certain aspects of every job because they are all bespoke to each customer

Q: Will your team take my goods to any floor?

A: If the room is accessible with the goods you are moving then the team will be able to take them to any floor any room.  However, if the goods won’t physically fit through openings or windows and specialist tradesman need to be called then this will be an additional cost
